Tile1.exe is a tool for Neomill7 large outdoor worlds. Neomill7 is a wdl script" treadmill" tile engine for Conitec's Gamestudio7. Read the Description.txt for more information.

Tile1.exe creates .wmp .wmb .hmp .mdl "file-arrays" for the neomill mill_control7.wdl script from prototypes. Ter1.exe expects prototypes as TR0-0.hmp, BL0-0.wmb, BL0-0.wmp or MD0-0.mdl. MD0-0.mdl however for file arrays are not used by mill_control.wdl7 any more.

The purpose of TILE1.exe is just to not let you spend endless time in naming and numbering hundreds of file names.

Usage:

Put Tile1.exe in the same directory with a TR.0-0.hmp you have created before.
Start Tile1.exe and check "create .hmps". Enter the size of the file array like 10x10.
Press start creating...
Ter1.exe will create a set of cloned files now numerated from TR1-1.hmp to TR10-10.hmp representing an x/y array of the terrains to be used with neomill7, here 100 tile files.
You can now edit your terrains individually in MED and save them back.
Wmb and wmp file arrays can be created in the same way.

*****************************************************************

Note: Tile1.exe overwrites all existing numbered files of your file/tile array without warning, if there are any you've created before.

*****************************************************************

The mill_control7.wdl script starts at TR.4-5.hmp by default when running Neomill7.wdl.

Note: When you enter 100x100 for your x/y tile array Tile1.exe will ceate 10000 files. This may take some time. Tile1.exe gives a finished message when ready. Make up your mind, if you think you can design tenthousands of terrains or wmps.

Note: Max. number of files in one directory in XP FAT32 is 65534

Max. number of files in one Dir is in XP NTFS is 4 292 967 295
