Hi my name is Jonathan. I have been looking around on the A5 related websites for a long while trying to find a worthy Cell Shading tutorial.
Anyway I found one on the 3DGS website in the Fourms. So here is a way to get your games models to have a cell shaded look to them.

1. Open Med.
2. Make 2 simple balls next to eachother.
3. Go to the "View" toolbar and click on "Skins"
4. From here click on "Edit"-Create MDL mapping.
5. Click "Right".
6. Make sure that there are 4 wire frames of the ball in the skins box.
7. Click on "File" "Export" Current Image to "BMP".
8. Save it somewhere you'll know where go get to fast and easy.
9. Open Paint. And from here open your skin image that you just saved while in the Skin editor.
10. Delete the 1st, and 3rd ball's image and then fill their area with black.
11. Now delete the 2nd, and 4th ball's image and them fill their area with Yellow.
12. Now save your newly modified skin image.
13. Open your skin editor back up and click on "File" "Import" "Skin Image", and open up your new skin that you just modified in Paint.
14. Once that is finished, "ONE" of the balls should be "BLACK" and the other should be "YELLOW".
15. If You were successful at that, then close the Skin editor box.
16. Now go back to your MED "Model Editor" and click on the "TRIANGLE MODE" button.(looks like a yellow sideways triangl) and highlight the "Black Ball only"
17. Now move the "Black Ball" over and center it with the "Yellow Ball".
18. Now make the "Black Ball" just a tad bit larger than the "Yellow Ball".
19. Now The Easy Part. "Click once on the "FLIP NORMALS BUTTON".
20. Click "File Save" and name and save it whatever you want to.
21. If you did Every thing like I said. You Should now have a Cell-Shaded Yellow Ball.
