Two engine modules

A6 consists of two modules now: acknex.exe and acknex.dll. Both files are located inside the \Gamestudio folder; the \bin folder doesn't exist anymore.

 

MED: change terrain size

This new Med function allows you to change the size of the terrain and / or its faces.



Med: new skin painter

Med's skin painter supports and displays true color skins.

 

New bitmaps types

Bitmaps can now also use DDS, DIB, HDR, JPG, PFM, PNG, and PPM images. This feature allows you to create smaller sized games - great news for those of you that are selling downloadable versions of their games.
