Welcome to a new AUM issue! This time I have prepared the following articles:

Beginner’s corner:

  - Splitball: learn how to create multiple views and use them in a two player game;
  - Password request code: open doors and / or trigger other functions only if you know the password.

Most asked questions:

A new set of questions and answers.

Hot features:

Great new features in this issue.

Code snippets:

- Cutscene camera code: press a button, record the movement, save a small file on the disk. Load it and play it whenever you want.
- Redefining the keys is easier than ever; this is a new feature but I have received so many requests...

J.C.Lotter, Acknex's creator gives us more fresh info about A5: past, present, future - they're all in here.

Check the new stuff on the Recent Screenshots page.

All the stuff that can be downloaded in AUM5 is zipped here; make sure that you copy all the folders inside your Game Studio folder. Don't forget to "include" the files that need to be included in your main file.

I'm George Pirvu and I am in charge with the Acknex User Magazine. My email address is george@acknex.net; feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

P.S: I use textures from standard.wad for all my demos in all the AUM editions. If you can't find a texture (because I didn't include the wad) simply add standard.wad to your project.
