Purrfect AI

This month's article builds on my good old Perfect AI code, improving it. The path finding algorithm runs even faster now, the paths are looking better and the number of nodes that can be placed in a level was increased from 100 to 300, to name a few of the significant improvements.

 

I have created a small isometric game with a robot that is guided using Purrfect AI. You will see some deadly spiders along the way, so make sure that you are using the left mouse button to shoot. And while we're here, use the right mouse button to move the robot, the mouse wheel (if you've got it) to zoom in and out and the "space" key to show / hide the guiding nodes.
