A device programmer, also called "chip programmer" or "circuit programmer", is a tool for transferring data into programmable integrated circuits, such as ROMs, EPROMs, EEPROMs, Flash Memory, GALs, PALs, PLDs, CPLDs, FPGAs, and microcontrollers. This forum is for discussions about features and issues of universal device programmers, such as the GALEP-5 and GALEP-5D programmers from Conitec.

Galep 4 does not take Continuity test.

We will have some version of the software.

A continuity test by a device programmer? This is the first time I've heard about this, but it is in fact a good idea, and could be implemented in a future version. You could even implement it yourself, however not with GALEP4, only with the GALEP5 Open Source API. Until then however, you have to use the usual battery and light bulb, or similar tools for a continuity test.

You mean a connection test? All GALEP versions do that.
