Hiya.
It's easy, really. Here are the steps:
- Plug neural-enhancement-quantifier into your brain port.
- Think about the humanoid you want; this will be saved as soon as you will it.
But that's all theoretical, though. You'll probably have to wait about a hundred years for that to hit the market. Now, assiming you want a humanoid model a bit faster than 100 years, try this...not theoretical, but a bit more work envolved:
- Think about what your creature will look like (10+ minutes)
- Learn how to draw (1 to 5 years, depending); or pay a professional to do it for you.
- Learn a 3d package (1 to 5 years, depending) OR...
- ...Higher a professional to do the modeling for you (time varies widely)
Ok, so it's not what you wanted to hear. But in all honesty, creating a good 3d model isn't just a matter of buying a 3d program. 3D modelers/animators spend years learning how to draw; anatomy, shape, lighting, perspective, etc. They then spend years learning how to animate; timing, slow down/slow up, secondary motion, pace, etc. There are those out there for which this is 'natural' for them, and they quickly gain the expertise in a matter of months, not years, but those are pretty rare fellows.
If you are just starting out learning how to model/animate in 3d, I'd suggest picking up Softimage XSI (Foundation). It will set you back about $500USD, but it is totally worth it. I'd also pick up UltimateUnwrap3D (for something like $30) to do the UV'ing as well as export into other formats.
