Lightwave modeler needed for rpg similar to "KOTOR". Need someone who can do human character models with lip synch.

Our game is a character and story driven game and characters are important. We want the player to immerse themselves in our game and feel for the characters around them as they play in our world.

Please make in Lightwave and have the file fomat be .lws. We are looking for mid to higher poly characters (much like Max Payne 2 or Morrowind but not in pieces like Morrowind's if you're familiar with the TES:CS)

game type - science fiction rpg in space

* one set of male and female in a flight suit.

female - long brown curly hair down to the mid lower back
male - average build
background - starting a career as military pilots on a ship in space

Can you do a few several skins for the male
* one smooth shaven
* one with a moustache
* one with a goatee
I can attach the skins to different male characters. You only have to do 2 character models - male and female but the facial hair for men is difficult to get right.

* animated using bones
* please make in Lightwave and the file format will be .lws
Basically I need to mod the models you made in order to make enough for a role playing game. Unfortunately we do not have a modeler that can do human character models well nor can we afford to have someone do an entire fleet of characters (unless we can work on some sort of a deal or payment plan).

Animations:
1 - several death
2 - several idle while standing
3 - standing but have the shoulders move to indicate breathing
4 - positioned to sit on a hover bike with hands on handlebars similar to Halo
5 - walk
6 - run
7 - climb - ladder. I will adjust the rungs to fit the model
8 - crouch
9 - swim
10 - rising from a chair and sitting down on a chair and sitting idle
11 - jump
12 - holding firing using :
A - pistol
B - rifle
C - blunt weapon or sword
D - rocket launcher similar to Halo
E - fist fighting
13 - sit on a bed and lie down to sleep then rise from the bed to stand. This is a role play game so NPCs will go to sleep or be in a hospital bed. Have body move as to indicate breathing like the chest rising and falling.
14 - lip synch
15 - working
A - reading a book while sitting
B - readying a syringe and giving an injection
C - sitting and eatting
D - turn head to look left or right toward the person speaking (from sitting or standing position)
E - looking like they are tending to items on a counter while standing. Whether a shopkeeper or cooking.
F - bending over and picking flowers or crops that are knee high

Please send screenshots of your work and possibly a video of one of your animated characters. Give a price quote for the job. I prefer PayPal or ShareIt or something similar as payment methods (Western Union is a rip-off).

It doesn't seem like there are too many LW modelers about. Can someone do this work in Studio Max with bones animations and we'll have to pay to have it converted to LW. We definitely want bones animations.

Try the Lightwave forums.

I use Lightwave and have modeled with it, but find animating unbearably difficult. I'm not the only one, andm ost game character models are animated in Chraracter Studio because it makes the process somewhat easier.

If someone does the job for you in Max, you won't be able to export the animations to Lightwave, because .max is a proprietry format only for Max. You could use .X format, but it has some limitations (like only one bone per vertex, which is not good for character animation).

What I do is get the Max modeler to do the exporting to the required format (eg, md7) and take a copy of the max files as well so that if more work needs to be done on it in future, I can send it to someone with Max.

Frustrating, isn't it? But really, try your luck over on the Lightwave forums.
