Here's the first wip images of a game called preva being developed by MangaPage, these are all very preliminary screenshots of the game. This is the first game in serious development. The game is a manga/anime-stylized mecha fps/3rd person shooter (aka 3ps) game.

Constructive criticism please

This is the preliminary version of one of the space maps, as well as the preliminary hud.

Screenshot showing off some of the booster effects.

This is the Hover/Heavy-Grade Mecha, one of three player mecha.

This is the Mid-grade/Balanced Mecha, also a player mecha.

This is the Slim/Light-Armored Mecha, the last of the three player mecha.

The black ops enemy mech, also a low-grade mech.

Preliminary boosters.

A jumppad texture.

Early level textures (this is not a level of the game).

The whole Mecha thing isn't for me, but it all looks interesting so far.

So far, it looks pretty sick. The texturing is pretty good, except I dont like the hanger thing in the last two pictures. The texture is too tiled. My favorite mech there is the silver/grey one, the texturing looks nice.

Will these bots be customizable, as seen in games such as Armored Core and Mechwarrior? In my mind, that is what makes Mech games worth playing .

Keep it up, looks nice so far.

welcome to the blocky lands, inhabited of blocky people

the skins in med are using specular lighting, the ones in the engine are without any shaders or additives.
thanks for the replies

The silver bot is great! The level is too much of the same: the texture is repeated too many times and the whole level is a bit too blocky.

the level in the picture (ie the last two screens) are not even close to finished, that is to be a hangar, at this point that map will not be in the game, it is to show the texture, which will be in the finished product.

when you say "silver" mecha, which one do you mean?

@Rad_Daddy: At this point there will be unlockable mechs, with difft weapons, skills, speeds, armor, etc. Also you will be able to change the performance of the mech in areas such as ammo, armor, speed, etc, at the cost of those said skills (i.e. ammo effects speed, speed effects armor, etc).

Looks great! I like the very first scene a lot. Some space junk in the scene would definitly do it justice. Keep it up
