This month I have added a game to our menu code; you have been given a special space suit which includes a jetpack, allowing you to fly from one platform to the other. Since the needed gas is quite expensive, your boss didn't give you too much fuel, so you have to collect some (red) fuel packs along the way.
The red bar at the top of the screen tells you how much fuel you've got; press the arrow keys to move and space to use the jetpack.
Try to move on the longer platforms in order to save some gas and who knows? Maybe you'll get to greet the friendly alien at the end of the level!
Next month we will get to integrate the rest of the menu in our game code and maybe even add some "real" enemies and a second level. I'll see you then!
