Bones animation
Bones form the 'skeleton' of a model, and are used as an alternative method for animation. A model can be animated by changing the orientation or length of its set of bones. This way a model can shoot, walk and turn its head at the same time. MED allows you to create and connect bones, attach vertices to them and record animations.
MED plugin tools
A MED dll that contains two plugins was added as an example for the new MED / WED tools plugin interface. The tools: "Bones Transform" and "Transform Vertices" can be selected from the "Tools" menu.
New collision system
It might not sound very exciting but this feature is extremely hot! The new collision system allows polygon - precise collision detection for all your models.
