This month I have picked an improved version of the template multitexture terrain shader. What are the improvements? You can now use more textures and (most important) you can blend them in real time, creating effects like spring, summer, autumn, winter and so on while the game is running.
Just take a look at the pictures below to see what I mean.
Copy the mtshader folder from this month's resources to your 3DGS folder, open the test.wmp file in Wed, and then run the demo using the test.wdl script. Press the zero key to free the camera, and then move it closer to the terrain.
The demo includes 3 blending effects which can be tested by pressing the "1", "2" or "3" keys; press "4" to reset all the effects. Don't forget to thank RedPheonix for his exquisite contribution!
