Karen Thurm Safran, VP of marketing at iD Tech Camps - internalDrive, kindly took the time to answer our questions.

Q: Your course is advertised as "3D Game Design and Animation" (3DGDA). Could you give us a few more details? What exactly are you teaching the students?

A: For detailed information about our 3DGDA course please visit http://3d-game-design.internaldrive.com/

Q: Who can take this course?

A: Ages 13-17 and previous experience with our Video Game Creation ( http://video-game.internaldrive.com/ ) is recommended.

Q: How much do we have to pay for the whole thing? And how many days does it last?

A: Our program is weeklong and students can either be day or overnight students. Day students pay $639 per week and overnight students pay $989 per week. For this course, there is also a $95 lab fee. The

program is weeklong, Monday through Friday. Overnight students arrive Sunday late in the afternoon, but the course begins for everyone Monday morning.

Q: Why did you decide to use Conitec's engine?

A: We were very impressed with the 3D Gamestudio program and its capabilities. 3D GameStudio is the leading authoring system for 2D and 3D real-time applications. It combines a high-end 3D engine, a 2D engine, a highly realistic physics engine, a map and model editor, a script compiler, plus huge libraries of 3D objects and artwork. It has never been easier to create 1st person games, 3rd person games, role playing games, side scrollers, flight simulators, board games and sports games.

Q: How can we get more information about InternalDrive and its courses? (address, links, etc).

A: www.internalDrive.com has lots of information, including a slide show and video. We also include video testimonials by students and parent testimonials.

Thank you a lot Karen.
